Hi everyone. I hope life is treating you all well. To all that still read this I am a member of an online organization called the HCMA(Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association). This is a place where people and families affected by HCM can go to find support and get answers to any questions they might have about the disease. It is here that I am reminded everyday how fleeting and precious life can be. The severity of this disease can vary greatly amongst those of us affected with it. Just today there was a posting of a 17 year old girl who underwent a heart transplant on Saturday because of an extreme case of HCM. Her name is Sara and she is currently fighting for her life. Whatever you believe in.....prayer, positive thoughts, energy....please send them her way. Sometimes life just isn't fair!!!!! As for me I continue to feel stronger everyday. I'll be attempting to hit some tennis balls this Friday for the first time in many, many months. This is something I miss very much and am hoping my responds well.
